# Resolve-IPAddress ## SYNOPSIS Resolves a given hostename to its associated IPv4 address. Author: Will Schroeder (@harmj0y) License: BSD 3-Clause Required Dependencies: None ## SYNTAX ``` Resolve-IPAddress [[-ComputerName] ] ``` ## DESCRIPTION Resolves a given hostename to its associated IPv4 address using \[Net.Dns\]::GetHostEntry().
